Did You Know?

Did you know that each anniversary year has its own traditional gift theme? For example, the 10th anniversary is marked with tin or aluminum, representing resilience. The 25th anniversary is known as the Silver Anniversary, celebrating a quarter-century of love and commitment. And for the grand 60th anniversary, it’s all about diamonds, the hardest substance on earth, symbolizing an unbreakable bond.

Imagine gifting a delicate necklace or a pair of elegant earrings that she can cherish forever. It’s like adding a touch of magic to your love story!

Picture this: It’s your anniversary, and you’ve planned a romantic dinner. As you sit across from each other, you hand her a beautifully wrapped box from Annabel Jewellery. Her eyes light up as she opens it to find a stunning piece of jewellery that perfectly symbolizes your journey together. Can you feel the love in the air? 💕

What Do You Like?

When it comes to choosing the perfect anniversary gift, it’s all about knowing what she likes. Is she a fan of classic elegance or does she prefer something more modern and trendy? Annabel Jewellery offers a wide range of options, from timeless pearls to chic silver pieces. There’s something for every style and personality!

Here’s an intriguing tale:

The Black Orlov Diamond, also known as the “Eye of Brahma,” is one of the most mysterious and legendary jewels in history. This stunning 67.5-carat black diamond is said to be cursed, with a history that reads like an adventure novel.

Legend has it that the diamond was originally a 195-carat eye in a statue of Brahma, a Hindu god, in a temple in India. It was allegedly stolen by a monk, which is believed to have unleashed a curse. The diamond changed hands several times, and its owners often met with tragic fates.

In the 1930s, the diamond was owned by Princess Nadia Vyegin-Orlov, who gave it its name. She and another owner, J.W. Paris, both reportedly committed suicide by jumping from buildings. The curse seemed to follow the diamond wherever it went.

However, in an attempt to break the curse, the diamond was cut into three pieces. The largest piece, the Black Orlov, was set into a brooch surrounded by 108 white diamonds and suspended from a necklace of 124 diamonds. This stunning piece was later purchased by a private collector and has since been displayed in various museums, including the Natural History Museum in London.
