What is Sterling Silver 925?

Sterling Silver 925 refers to the amount of silver in our necklaces. In this case it is 92.5% of silver, with the remaining 7.5% made up of other metals. Pure Silver (100% silver) is too soft to be used in jewellery, meaning that our necklaces are as close to pure silver while still being sturdy and usable.

What does a 14k Gold Plated necklace mean?

Some of our necklaces are available with 14k gold plating, which refers to the amount of gold used to cover the jewellery. 14 karat gold has less gold than, say, 18k or even 21k, but the benefit is that it is less likely to tarnish, and gives your necklace a gorgeous golden shine, without the price tag that solid gold comes with.
